A good apology
A good apology rests on seven pillars:
a sincere demeanor,
an acknowledgment of responsibility,
a candid expression of regret,
an explanation where necessary,
a genuine promise to prevent this from happening again,
an offer to repair the damage done,
and a request for forgiveness.
The more pillars your apology rests on, the better it is - both for you and who you intend it for.
Often, saying “i’m sorry“ alone isn’t enough.
