Knowledge as a crutch
It’s easy to believe that if only we know a little bit more, if only we can piece together all the information we need, then it will be worth it. Then, we can make the right decision and take action.
It’s easy to believe that someone else has the answer - a coach, a mentor, some expert.
And that can be true. They often do have some answers we seek.
What they don’t have is the ability to take responsibility on our behalf.
What if the information will never be complete?
What if more information, more validation from another guru isn’t truly what we need?
What if we no longer need another crutch? And all we have is enough to make that decision?
