List three thoughts you had last week that seem embarrassing, but may make the lives of those you serve better if it works.
List three things you tried last week that shouldn’t work, but did.
List three things you tried last week that, as expected, worked.
The last one is what most organisations request in meetings and reports. A retell of what we knew was going to work. Same old. Same old.
If you don’t have answers for the first three, it may be a good time to reassess your approach to making what you do better.
Better is always an option. And it’s often hidden in trying what might not work.
