It should work that way
But often times, it doesn’t.
This happens because we tend to focus on what should happen rather than what is happening.
Learning this lesson was difficult for me. My objection was simple: I couldn’t merely accept the rhetoric that the world works in a certain way, no matter how absurd it might be. For me and many like me, we believed we could shift the course of change in a manner that would influence how the world ought to work.
Yet, as we concentrated on what 'should' be, we were educated by the realities of what 'is.'
It is important to understand how the world works. Align yourself with this understanding. And only then, should you build on patterns to alter the process in ways that make the outcome better.
Acknowledging reality, as if you designed it, is one of the most valuable gifts you can give yourself. Every other action to improve reality should follow the gracious acceptance of this gift.
