Journaling your next play
I built this a while ago and shared it with friends who knew people looking to start or land their next thing. It's called Your Next Play Journal, and it's filled with a series of prompts meant to make the path to the next project or career more clearer.
I love the feedback I've gotten since it was privately released. Some of my fav feedback are how it helps you confront what you need to do, how it leaves you no place to hide, and how it helps you know what you require of yourself to do the work with clarity and discipline.
Head over to this page on woow to use it. It's free to use. But it only works when you put in the work. I recommend you set aside at least two blocks of 25 minutes each to take this on. With honesty and candor.
While I love journaling alone, I enjoyed the hour-long live journaling sessions I hosted recently. It created a dedicated safe space to journal alone, in the company of others seeking similar things. If I find someone interested in co-hosting or taking over these live journaling sessions, I may keep them running.
And if you know anyone thinking about their next career move, or their next project or quest, be generous and share with them. I hope it's as useful for them as it has been for others.
