Some ask nicely. Others demand it.
And we oblige them.
At a time of boundless possibilities, guarding our attention may be one of the most significant feats.
Whoever dictates the object of your attention controls us more than we choose to admit. Don't let the object of your attention be dictated by just anyone - and definitely not by the duo of social media and news media.
I've found that deciding my attention diet early, including what I want to pay attention to, when, and for how long has helped me not only become more attentive but also filter through the noise for signals.
