On being weird
I love listening to beautiful commencement speeches.
And this one, by Chris Sacca, made me glow.
We have a society that rewards conformity. But when you ask those who have made being successful look normal, more than a few will attribute those wins to the traits society had once frowned on them for.
Because they didn't fit in.
We all need ‘difference’ to thrive as a society, even when our brains repel it for being unfamiliar.
We can unapologetically be our weird selves. Love is mutual weirdness.
