Return to love
Let me share a thought experiment I recently fell in love with.
When you are in a tense situation - an argument, a negotiation, or any situation that awakens the monkey brain, - take a moment to return to the last time you felt intense love.
Soak in the memory of that experience.
Then come back to this moment, and from a place of love - and an abundance of it - take the next action.
It has worked wonders each time I tried it. I have been more compassionate, more loving, and less tense.
