Teacher, father and friend

That's what I want to be in the lives of my ‘children’.

I had these words ingrained somewhere I could check it every now and again:

Try to be your child’s teacher until they are 10 years old, their father until they are 20, and their friend for the rest of their life.

That's it. Just a beautiful relationship between two human beings.
