The safety of nothing
Doing nothing is safe.
Not creating is safe.
Just consuming whatever exists is equally safe - to an extent.
Sometimes, being mediocre is safe.
Avoiding new experiences is a form of safety.
Telling a lie to ‘save face’ may be considered safe.
Holding on tightly to something you know you should let go of is also safe.
But is this the (illusion of) safety your soul truly yearns for?
