The ultimate wealth
“What is my part in your flourishing?”
In my imaginary world, that’s a question everyone will be asking.
Not to signal, but asking because they genuinely care. They care about your story, they care about the beauty they see in you and the dignity you have. They care about your agency and how they might support you in nurturing it.
The currency in this world is love. Wealth is measured by your largeness of heart, the quietness of your ego, and the love you are giving. We may stumble, get into misalignment, and somehow find our way back to one another.
The most important technology in this world is the human spirit, and it powers great innovation when it’s kindled. It doesn’t power down. And we are never challenged by the risk of unleashing this technology.
We still use lesser technologies like artificial intelligence, blockchain, and several others yet to be made public. But they are tools, carefully leveraged to support the the ultimate technology. In and of themselves, they are meaningless.
And as our society improves, we remind ourselves that the ultimate wealth is love. Not cynicism. Not hate. But love.
This world doesn’t have to remain imaginary.
