Happily undignified
Dignity is a good word. It’s intended to be a good word.
But the stories and images wrapped around what a dignified person looks like often causes tension for the word.
The more dignified one becomes, the more they shouldn’t be seen doing some things.
Like dancing without a care in the world
Like laughing loud and esterically.
Like starting new and small things
Or suspending the use of power.
No one should define how you define being dignified.
Not popular culture. Not the other guy. And definitely not strangers you may never meet.
