Wear and tier
If we can choose what to build, why can’t we build things that get better with the passage of time?
Things that aren’t designed to wear out, and replaced every other month. Or every year.
Things that are durable. Things that become more valuable the more you interact with them.
It’s tempting to think about this solely from the lens of building products that last.
It’s more rewarding if for a moment, we think about this in the context of relationships. Especially the relationships we claim are important to us.
