Cerebral chicken and egg
The post from yesterday struck a cord and led to some beautiful conversations.
As important as thinking is, it's no substitute for taking action.
As eventful as taking action can be, often, there is no point in rushing to one without thinking.
Find the balance. Think, then act, then think, then act.
One thing that has improved my thinking is boredom. Allowing myself to get bored, and when I hit my limit, increasing my tolerance for more boredom.
Allotting chunks of uninterrupted focused time is a good practice. Lay bricks of intentional action on this foundation.
Thinking is not an excuse for not acting. Action creates momentum that thinking doesn't.
Doing both is exponential.
