The other path to freedom
The paradox of freedom is that, sadly, the more freedom some people have, the less free will they experience.
It’s a simple but sad turn of events.
Freedom enlarges the fields of what is possible. It makes it possible to do anything at all, and be anything at all1.
Any world where you can choose the best of anything you want also gives rise to the anxiety of choice. If you can choose anything at all, why choose this one thing when there might be something better out there?
This paralyses so many people.
For a lot of people, the paths available are either to abdicate their free will and let someone else make that decision for them, or to create conditional boundaries to work with.
More people choose the first. More people will continue to choose the first.
We don’t need to limit freedom or abundance. We just need more people either choosing the second path or creating better ones.
Anything possible under the laws of physics governing this universe.
