Leader and delegation
Every busy professional has been told to 'delegate more often'. Or 'use the Eisenhower matrix more'.
Blah blah blah...
Well, it goes deeper than that, doesn't it?
I recently found a framework that may simplify my approach to working with the executive I delegate to. And it may be valuable for other professionals.1
It's called the LEADER framework.
Whoever you most delegate to will:
L - list all the things you do
E - eliminate all the things you don't need to do personally
A - automate the things that can be
D - delegate the rest
E - elevate to what gives you joy
R - repeat weekly / monthly
Here is the twist. This framework isn't yours to own. It's for your assistant or chief of staff to own and run you through.
