Talk is cheap
So, make it count.
Talk with the people you love.
Talk about what you imagine. And talk to expand what can be imagined.
Talk about the things you are yet to figure out.
Talk about your dreams, your aspirations.
Talk to find healing, to cross dark places.
Talk.
Most people talk to fill silence. Don't be most people.
Talk to create meaning.
Convert your words into forms you find useful. Audio, text, signwriting, visuals or video. Translate across languages and contexts.
As humans, we've talked our way into making the world better.
We've talked ourselves into starting wars, ending wars and avoiding a lot more.
We've talked our ways to the moon, to Mars, and to the hearts of others.
We've built meaningful relationships, resilient communities and companies, and sustained countries by talking through it.
Human history has a collection of moments where talking moved us forward.
We still do today; we talk ourselves into taking action that move us forward.
Talking is no substitute for taking action. Instead, it propels it.
Clear communication precedes every major accomplishment.
Talk to yourself. Talk to your journal. Until you get clarity and direction.
Talk to people you love, and those you choose to serve. Until, together, you do the impossible.
Talk to the universe. And listen for the response.
Know when to embrace silence as you talk. When to pause. And when to talk no more.
Talk is cheap. But cheap isn't the same as not valuable.
It's not expensive. Instead, it's undervalued.
Meaningful and intentional talk? That's priceless.
